Christine W. Hartmann, Ph.D.
Since 2009, I (she/her) have been principal investigator of federal research grants totaling over $20 million. I have authored four books, attended editing and writing workshops, read many editing and writing books, and participated in multiple Robert McKee scriptwriting seminars. I published my thoughts on hooking a grant reviewer in the journal Nature. My grant proposal writing method draws on skills I developed through these means and more. I started this website to help others push their careers to the next level.

My Career
